The Brazilian Football Confederation has officially renewed the contract with Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti, who will remain in charge of the Brazil national team until 2030.
The decision was made public by the Brazilian federation itself and comes at an important moment, just before the start of the 2026 World Cup. With this new agreement, Ancelotti will lead Brazil at least until the 2030 World Cup, taking on a full long-term mandate at the helm of one of the biggest national teams in the world.
The Italian coach took charge of Brazil at the end of May 2025 and has so far led the team in 10 matches, recording five wins, two draws and three losses. Despite the mixed record, federation leaders have praised the team's progress and the stability brought by Ancelotti's experience.
According to the official announcement, the Brazilian Football Confederation sees the continuation of cooperation with the Italian coach as a strategic step to return Brazil to the top of world football, with the main objective of winning major trophies in the coming years.
