One of the Kremlin's top propagandists has launched another scathing verbal attack on the West, threatening to sink British ships and declaring that "the worse things go in Europe, the better it is for us."
Vladimir Solovyov, one of the leading media voices in support of Russian President Vladimir Putin, made this strong statement during a broadcast on Russian state television.
Calling for a complete severance of relations and economic ties with Western countries, the hardline journalist argued that Moscow should actively destabilize European countries and retaliate harshly for anti-Russian sanctions and military support for Ukraine.
During the broadcast, Solovyov targeted European shipping, singling out Great Britain, France and Norway. He called for Russia to no longer recognize European shipping and to attack ships at sea in response to the West's actions.
