A large fire has reactivated on the Qafë Helme mountain, in the territory of the village of Koçaj, Fushë Bulqizë Administrative Unit, creating a worrying situation in the area.
The flames have engulfed a significant forest area, burning large swaths of beech and pine trees. The fire continues to advance and is approaching the village of Koçaj.
The situation is further complicated by the rugged mountainous terrain, which makes it almost impossible for firefighting vehicles and forces to intervene from the ground.
Due to the spread of the flames and their approach to the residential area, immediate air intervention is needed to bring the fire under control and prevent its further spread.
