Don't bore us with this "Enver's Villa"
For 3 mandates, the PD-SB has governed. There was time and opportunity to turn that villa into a museum of communist crime where the dictatorial-criminal activity of that regime would be reflected. They didn't do it. Neither that, nor Spaçi, nor Tepelena. The "right" government, that is.
And today they forget that he didn't do it on purpose. They sell us anti-dictatorship tales.
They forget that in that villa Sali Berisha has photos of his youth for which, as he himself admitted, he was at the birthday of Enver's son, Sokol Hoxha. Now they are babbling in vain and saying; beautiful view, fire on the dictator's villa, symbolic act against Enver's dictatorship, etc.
They say this by following the politician who has fun photos inside and, today in the political scene, he is the only politician who remembers that villa with a living dictator, with a dictator walking through the corridors, because that dictator was the father of his friend, Sokol Hoxha. He admitted it to Fevziu himself. That is, he threw a Molotov cocktail at his friend's former house. Not at his former friend, his friend. Simply at his former house.
And yet Sali Berisha himself humiliated these followers of his who say so, because he came out and declared that he did not intend to set fire to that house, not even as a symbolic act, but that they had been deceived, they had been told that Edi Rama was sheltering in that villa. And those who do not throw even half a stone without an order, but only shoot when the leader finishes his speech, had shot without an order, out of great hatred for the dictatorship. The villa has been there for 30 years and none of these people angry with the dictatorship has broken a single window, not even as a symbolic act.
Yesterday, when he needed to make news because turnout had halved, he decided to make news with a Molotov cocktail, the former home of the former dictator, the father of his friend and, at the same time, the chairman of his former party (PPSH) where he was a member and secretary.
That house today has no symbol or anything that reminds you of dictatorship, and it even serves as the center for a French cultural organization. The media is giving it the pleasure of making Molotov's act news. We are also dealing with his act, with full awareness. Tomorrow they may chase and burn some black car, with the same excuse, that we were deceived, they told us that the dictator Edvin Kristaq Rama was traveling in that car. They have Edvin in parliament and it is not that he is hiding somewhere, but, the fable wants us to know that he, Edvin, is terrified and does not sleep in his own house, nor does he drive his own car, out of fear of the blue hurricane.
Now they are staging this themselves with Enver's villa, and they have a ready answer for anyone: "You feel sorry for the dictator's villa." Do you feel sorry for us? Enver's villa can only be felt by someone who has fond memories of their youth in that villa, by the fireplace. Sometimes we feel sorry for only ourselves; we feel sorry that we live among people who have hypocrisy, lies, schemes, ignorance as their primary means of action.
For people who speak out against dictatorship but need a dictator, it is enough for their dictator to feed their lust for violence, hate speech, insults, and humiliation of those people within the party who dare to speak out. It satisfies them completely.
There are two peoples within Albania, each with its own dictator, its own feudal lord, and the nurturer of their respective lusts for violence and humiliation of the other. Anti-dictatorship is a culture and a social attitude, not a statement. So let them not tire us too much because they will only further slander the society in which we live.
