Kosovo's President, Vjosa Osmani, signed Kosovo's participation in US President Donald Trump's Peace Board, during a ceremony held on Thursday in Davos, Switzerland.
Before the signing, Osmani extended his hand to Trump and they exchanged a few words for a few seconds, in a brief symbolic moment during the ceremony.
Kosovo is one of the 19 states that signed on the day of the establishment of this Board. In addition to it, Argentina, Armenia, Bulgaria, Bahrain, Azerbaijan, Hungary, Indonesia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Morocco, Pakistan, Paraguay, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan and Mongolia have also signed.
The Peace Board announced by Trump aims to create a new international platform for mediation and addressing global conflicts, while Kosovo's inclusion marks a new step in its diplomatic engagement in international initiatives.
