The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) will hold a closed session on Iran today.
The meeting was requested by Russia, which raised the issue of US-Israeli attacks on civilian infrastructure in that country, two UN diplomats said, speaking on condition of anonymity because the session is not open to the public, the Times of Israel reported.
The United States, which currently holds the presidency of the Security Council, scheduled the meeting.
