Vlora police arrested Renardo Nallban on Saturday evening, who was wanted in the context of the investigation into the Tirana incinerator case.
According to preliminary data, Nallbani was located and arrested at his villa in Palasa, following operational actions carried out by the Police services.
He is charged with several criminal offenses related to the Tirana incinerator investigations, including “Laundering of proceeds of crime or criminal activity”, committed in special collaboration within the framework of a structured criminal group, “Structured criminal group” and “Commitment of criminal offenses by a criminal organization and a structured criminal group”.
Nallbani had been wanted for about two years. His name was mentioned in the Tirana incinerator case, one of SPAK's largest investigations into corruption, money laundering and suspected misuse of public funds.
Nallbani was also convicted by the Turin Court of Appeal in Italy for the criminal offenses of "drug trafficking" and "management of criminal organizations."
