Today, President Osmani received a letter from the President of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump, in which he thanks her for her dedication and friendship towards the United States, her courageous leadership, and expresses his desire to deepen cooperation in the years to come.
In the letter, the US President writes that the decision to accept citizens from other countries demonstrates Kosovo's strong willingness to cooperate with the United States of America, adding that the leadership on this issue demonstrates the strength and compassion of the people of Kosovo.
"The United States and Kosovo share a deep bond, based on mutual respect, shared democratic values, and a vision for a peaceful and prosperous future. Your commitment to strengthening this bond has not gone unnoticed, and I am confident that together we will continue to advance our shared goals," President Trump emphasized in his letter.
Thanking the President for her commitment to strengthening the partnership with the United States, President Trump also said: "I thank you again for your courageous leadership and for standing as a true friend of the United States. I look forward to working with you in the years to come."
At the end of the letter, President Trump also sends President Osmani best wishes from the First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump.
