President Vjosa Osmani has withdrawn the request made to the Constitutional Court to clarify the consequences of not constituting the Assembly within the 30-day deadline.
She said at a press conference that she withdrew the request submitted on July 22 because of a Serbian judge, who she said was appointed "as a reporting judge" in her request.
"I have done this as an immediate reaction to the already confirmed information that Judge Radomir Llaban has been appointed as the reporting judge in this request, for whose dangerous activity in 2018, 2021 and 2024, our security institutions have submitted clear and official information. According to this information, which in 2021 and 2024 was also shared with the Constitutional Court, this judge poses a risk to the national security of the Republic of Kosovo and is engaged in activities against the constitutional order of the Republic of Kosovo," said Osmani.
