US President Donald Trump's media company, Trump Media & Technology Group, has introduced a new service called "Truth API", which allows clients to quickly retrieve posts published on the Truth Social platform and other influential accounts.
The service is aimed primarily at financial trading firms, institutional investors and businesses that require real-time information to react more quickly to developments that could affect financial markets. According to CNBC reports, subscriptions for the most advanced packages can cost up to $100,000 per month.
The company emphasizes that the “Truth API” provides automated and licensed streaming of public data from Truth Social, reducing delays in receiving information.
Trump's tweets have often influenced market movements, especially when related to tariffs, energy, sanctions, or foreign policy, so faster access to these statements is considered of great value to investors.
However, the service has sparked controversy, with critics warning that it could create an unfair advantage for companies that pay for faster access to market-influencing information. Trump Media has dismissed the criticism, saying it is simply a technology product that distributes public data and is part of its strategy to expand beyond its social network Truth Social.
