Following the decision of the Constitutional Court of Albania to overturn the changes to the Parliament's regulations, the Democratic Party of Albania and the Socialist Party of Albania have begun work on drafting a new parliamentary regulation.
The DP parliamentary group has submitted several proposals and requests to the Assembly aimed at finding a common language with the majority, but their focus seems not to be on respecting the Assembly's rules of procedure, which the opposition has often debated with the majority, but rather on the privileges and benefits of MPs.
At the top of the list of proposals is the determination of the chairmen and composition of friendship groups, which are often considered structures that serve more for trips abroad by MPs.

The DP also demands equal composition in the Ethics Secretariat, the body where disciplinary measures are taken against MPs.
Another interesting request is related to the support staff. The proposal states that the support staff should be equal to the number of parliamentary committees. This privilege would only belong to the DP and the SP, while other parliamentary parties would benefit from it according to the number of members of the parliamentary group.

The opposition has also thought about the physical fatigue and productivity of the deputies, as the proposal foresees that if the plenary session continues after 10:00 PM, it will be interrupted and will continue the next day at 10:00 AM.
