Dua Lipa and Calum Turner have decided to collaborate, as they aim to enter the business world together. The couple, who got engaged a few months ago, recently founded TwentyTwo Films Limited.
The company aims to produce films and TV shows, with the 30-year-old pop star and the 35-year-old actor having equal shares.
A source close to the couple who spoke to The Sun stressed: “Dua and Calum are very ambitious people and have a lot of plans for ventures that they want to do together. She has already tried to get involved in cinema in the past. But if she moves on to new projects, she wants to have more creative control.” The same source added: “She and Calum have a lot of ideas that they think will work. It’s still very early days, but the engines are turning.”
The couple's new venture is reminiscent of the path taken by Margot Robbie and her husband, producer Tom Ackerley, who founded their own label LuckyChap, which has produced hits such as "I, Tonya," "Saltburn" and "Barbie" - which also featured Dua Lipa.
Dua Lipa's relationship with Callum Turner began to dominate the media in January 2024, when they were seen together at a party after the premiere of the series "Masters of Air" in London, in which the 35-year-old actor played the lead role.
Since then, they have made several appearances together at dinners and public events, and in July 2024, Lipa made their relationship official with an Instagram post, uploading two tender photos from Glastonbury, where she herself performed live. Last June, the 30-year-old singer confirmed in an interview with Vogue that she was engaged to her boyfriend.
