Seven people were killed and another was injured when a private plane crashed at an airport in the US state of Maine on Sunday, CNN reported, citing the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The twin-engine Bombardier Challenger 650 crashed during takeoff at Bangor International Airport. After the crash, the private jet burst into flames.
Authorities have launched investigations to determine the causes of the plane crash, which occurred at a time when a severe snowstorm is hitting the northeastern states of the United States.
