Iran, through a post on "X", has reacted to a statement by US President Donald Trump, who states that a massive armament is heading towards Iran. In response, Iran emphasizes that the last time the US was involved in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, it wasted over 7 trillion dollars and lost more than 7,000 American lives.
"Iran is ready for dialogue based on mutual respect and shared interests - BUT IF DELAYED, IT WILL DEFEND ITSELF AND RESPOND LIKE NEVER BEFORE," the Iranian mission to the UN said in a post.
Iran, in response, has also shared Trump's post, which emphasizes that an agreement must be reached, as according to him, otherwise an operation will be carried out to destroy it.
“A massive Army is moving toward Iran. It is moving quickly, with great power, enthusiasm, and purpose. It is a larger fleet, led by the great Aircraft Carrier Abraham Lincoln, than the one sent to Venezuela. As with Venezuela, it is ready, willing, and able to accomplish its mission swiftly, with speed and violence, if necessary.
We hope that Iran will “come to the table quickly” and negotiate a fair and equitable deal – NO NUCLEAR WEAPONS – a deal that is good for all parties. Time is running out, it is truly essential!
"As I told Iran once before, MAKE A DEAL! They didn't, and there was 'Operation Midnight Hammer', a major destruction of Iran. The next attack will be much worse! Don't let this happen again," Trump wrote.
