Citizens in Kosovo's 38 municipalities voted on October 12 to elect new mayors and new municipal compositions.
Based on the vote count so far, in 21 municipalities, citizens have elected the heads of municipalities in the first round, while in the remaining 17, a runoff round will take place, Radio Free Europe reports.
Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, is among the municipalities that will go to the runoff, when the LDK and LVV will face off.
In the first round, LVV and PDK won in three municipalities, LDK in two, AAK and Nisma won one municipality each, as did Ramiz Lladrovci with his list in Drenas.
The CEC said it expects to complete the counting of all votes within the week, namely those of assembly members, conditional votes, votes of people with special needs, and votes by mail.
