The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, left today for the United States of America, where he has announced a meeting with Albanians living there.
But it seems that his visit will not only be accompanied by enthusiasm and applause from supporters. On the same day, a group of Albanian immigrants has announced the organization of a protest against the leader of the Democratic Party.
Through an Instagram post, the organizers have made public the call for the rally, using one of the slogans of the protest in Tirana, "Berisha non-grata, Berisha in prison."
Thus, Berisha's first trip to the US after the lifting of the restriction on his entry is expected to have two aspects, on the one hand, supporters who will welcome him in the hall, and on the other, opponents who have chosen the protest to "welcome him."
A few days ago, the Democratic leader announced that the meeting with Albanians in America will take place on Sunday, September 6, at 11:00 AM, at the Bergen Performing Arts Center, in Englewood, New Jersey.
"Freedom Works" is the slogan with which Berisha has promoted the meeting, where he is expected to address the Albanians of America with a speech.
It remains to be seen which reception will make the most noise on September 6th, the one inside the hall or the one announced outside it.
