Former Vllaznia coach Thomas Brdaric has changed teams and will continue his career in Saudi Arabia. The Croatian-German coach has signed with Al-Bukayriyah, a club that competes in the Saudi Arabian First League.
Brdaric was most recently in charge of Malisheva in the Kosovo Super League, where he left despite a good start to the season. He will now be in charge of the Saudi team, which has formalized the agreement with the coach.
"The management of Al-Bukayriyah club has finalized the contract procedures with German coach Thomas Brdaric to take over the management of Al-Bukayriyah's first team," the club's official announcement said.
Al-Bukayriyah is going through a difficult moment in the championship. After six rounds, the team is ranked in 17th place, the penultimate, with only two points accumulated and still without a single win.
Brdaric has extensive experience in Albanian and Kosovar football. In addition to Vllaznia and Malisheva, he has also managed Shkëndija and Drenica.
Now, the Croatian-German coach will attempt to change the situation at Al-Bukayriyah and return the team to positive results in the Saudi Arabian First League.
