10 people were killed, including the perpetrator, and 25 others were injured in the shooting at a high school in British Columbia, Canada.
Specifically, 6 people were found dead inside the school and another died on the way to the hospital. Two other people were found dead inside an apartment and their deaths are related to the case, according to police.
Another 25 people were transported to hospitals and are receiving medical treatment. Two of them had to be transported by helicopter as they are suffering from serious and life-threatening injuries.
Canadian police said the shooter committed suicide by shooting himself inside the school and has been identified. However, they have not yet released details about her identity, such as whether she is a student or an adult, or what her relationship to the school was.
According to CBS, area residents received an emergency alert on their phones stating that the suspect in the massacre was a dark-haired woman wearing a dress.
