The United States has agreed to temporarily suspend sanctions on Iranian oil while negotiations with Tehran continue, the Iranian news agency Tasnim reported, citing sources close to the Iranian negotiating team.
According to the report, the latest American proposal foresees the suspension of oil-related sanctions for the duration of the talks between the two parties, unlike previous offers.
On the other hand, Iran continues to demand the complete lifting of all sanctions. Meanwhile, Washington says it is willing to ease only the US Treasury Department sanctions until a final agreement is reached.
